Fitzpatrick Scale Areola Color Ruler

A color guide for areola and nipple tattooing, based on the Fitzpatrick skin color scale. Engaging the patient in the color choice is important: the front of the ruler shows the suggested colors so the patient can pick the one that feels most comfortable, and the back has the recipes to guide you in mixing them. The colors are generic, so you can comfortably use any color line. This is a confidence builder for the patient and the technician.

Choose your style:

• Female: for the post-mastectomy patient.
• Male: for the traditional male, transgender or top surgery client.

During the consultation, if the patient is not ready for the final tattoo, start them on a temporary tattoo in the matching color.
